Do what I did when I bought cigs and booze before I was legal. Be confident and act like you know what you want and what you’re doing. Don’t be nervous.

The best way is to fold up a piece of money (Forget Hamilton and Jackson, think Grant or Franklin) and place it behind your ID in your wallet. Whenever you are asked for your ID, Pull both out of your wallet. Hold the ID so your hand obscures most of it and use your thumb to slide the money out from behind so that the number in the corner of the bill shows. Make Eye contact with whoever is requesting your ID as you do this and say something like, “Here you go Ma’am” while you hand them the ID. They’ll look at it, realize that you’re underage, then realize that you just offered them money to look the other way. You could also Front-Palm the bill and offer it in a handshake right when you walk in the door.

Persistencee is key and the law of large numbers applies. The more places you try, the more likely you are to succeed.
