Gratuity at a spa?
I am going on a hiking retreat. My package includes 3 massages. Never done the spa thing or had a “professional” massage. Do you tip? How much?
Yes. Typically 15%. If it is a package I would base the 15% on an average spa massage (probably $75-$125/hour) since you won’t have the actual cost of the massage (maybe you can look at the spa menu and see what the cost would be if you purchased the massages individually and tip 15% on that.
