why is it that massage in the uk is not real compared to that you get in thailand?

i am NOT talking about “sexy” massage / prostitution
i am talking about therapeutic health massage
the ones i have had in the uk are very superficial, expensive an ineffective compared to a proper thai oil massage
why don’t they teach proper massage in the uk?
